CONTROL PLAN REPORT

This module is designed to allow users to generate detailed Control Plan Reports by applying a variety of search filters, enabling effective inspection tracking and report generation.


1.1 Accessing the Control Plan Report

Step-by-Step Access Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Main Menu
  2. Go to Production & Quality → Reports
  3. Click on Control Plan Report

1.2 Understanding the Search Filters

The Control Plan Report screen includes several filters that help narrow and generate specific reports.

PartMulti-select dropdown. Choose one or more parts for the report.
Control PlanSingle-select dropdown. Choose a specific control plan for the selected part.
ProcessDropdown. Select a particular process step (e.g., Inward Inspection).
MachineDropdown. Select the machine where the process occurred (e.g., VMC-1).
Part Serial NumberText input. Enter the serial number of the part.
Sample FrequencyText or dropdown (e.g., "SHIFT") to specify the sampling interval.
Report From Date (Required)Start date for report data range.
Report To Date (Required)End date for report data range.
note

If the date range exceeds one month, a warning alert will prompt the user to adjust it.


1.3 Field Validations and Alerts

  • Date Validation:
    If the selected range exceeds one month:

    ⚠️ "Please select a date range for one month"

  • No Data Found:
    If no records match the selected filters:

    📘 "No Data for the control plan"

  • Successful Search:
    When data is retrieved successfully:

    "56 Control Plan Retrieved Successfully" (number may vary)


1.4 Using the Search & Clear Buttons

SearchExecutes the report generation using selected filters.
ClearResets all fields to default values for a new search.

📝 Ensure both Report From Date and Report To Date are filled in — these are mandatory.


1.5 Control Plan Report Results

Once the report is generated, it displays relevant inspection/control plan data. Based on filters and system configuration, columns may include:

Inspector/UserThe person who recorded the inspection

1.6 Additional Features (If Enabled)

  • Sorting: Clickable column headers to sort by ascending/descending order
  • Pagination: Navigate using Previous / Next buttons
  • Export Options: Export report to Excel or print
  • Filter Persistence: Retains selected filters for ease of repeated reports
